Especially for the Boxing Federation of St. Petersburg, we have developed several gyms. The very first room is AVENUE. We designed and built it at the end of 2017.
Our bureau developed the design as well as all the technical sections of the facility: ventilation, water supply, sewage ...
The hall consists of an entrance zone, a coach’s office, a common sports space divided according to zoning, as well as a changing room and a spa area.
When creating the concept, the “old school” theme was based on the themes of the Soviet and American boxing halls of the 60-70s. We pushed off from this direction and developed towards the modern space with a minimum of scenery and an emphasis on functionality.
The interior turned out to be quite brutal, while we took into account all the technological requirements of the Boxing Federation so that professional athletes could comfortably engage in the hall.
Creating the interior, we used the simplest materials: wood, concrete, metal.
When implementing the facility, we were able to solve a lot of technical difficulties: from transferring wet areas in a public building to creating a soundproof effect in the external walls.
